Cookie policy
This page lists every cookie this site sets. The list is complete and short: there is nothing else hidden behind it.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks the browser to store and send back on later visits. We keep the number as low as possible: only two, both strictly technical, and neither is used to follow you around other sites.
The cookies we set
Both are set by us, both last twelve months, and both stay on your device only.
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| theme | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark interface, so the site does not flash the opposite one on your next visit. | 12 months |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you selected, so the switcher opens on your choice instead of the browser language. | 12 months |

Why there is no consent banner
Neither cookie needs consent under Article 5.3.e of the ePrivacy Directive: they are necessary for a service you explicitly asked for, such as keeping the site in your language, and they do not let us read your device or identify you. A banner would be misleading because there would be nothing to refuse. If analytics or advertising are ever added, that stops being true, and the banner will appear before anything is stored.
How to remove them
You can delete or block cookies from your browser settings at any time. Blocking them will not break the tools, only the preference stops being remembered. Clearing the site data for this domain removes both in one step.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page before introducing any new cookie, so that the list you read here is always the list that actually applies. The revision date at the top shows when the text was last changed.
